British Columbia Golf Courses and Resorts

Golf British Columbia is the official golf partnership between Tourism BC,  British Columbia Golf and the BC golf industry.

Golf British Columbia is the official website for Golf in BC, with BC golf packages for the top BC golf courses.  Ten BC golf courses have made it to the lists of "Best New Canadian Golf Courses" in the past three years as awarded by ScoreGolf Magazine and Golf Digest, including #1 ranked Predator Ridge, Shadow Mountain and Redstone Resort in 2010.  Nowhere else will you find award-winning golf such as Predator Ridge,  Tobiano, Bear Mountain, Big Sky and Greywolf in such spectacular settings.

Some of the top golf architects in the world including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Robert Trent Jones, as well as well-known Canadian architects McBroom, Cooke and Furber have come to BC to craft some of the world’s best courses.  BC’s courses aren’t artificial – they blend with their surroundings to create a natural golf experience that varies with their environment.  Ocean-side, parkland, forest and mountain courses offer tremendous variety, often within a few miles of each other. The moderate, temperate climate means that summers are enjoyable and imminently suitable for golf.

For mountain golf lovers, Whistler's courses offer signature designs complimented by the best of resort amenities as 2010 Olympic viewers saw.  On the eastern side of British Columbia, the Kootenay Rockies region, nestled between the Rocky Mountains offers a variety of courses, lead by Greywolf, one of the best mountain courses in North America.
Okanagan Golf Club
Vancouver offers the combination of a city experience in one of the worlds best cities along with both parklands and mountain courses.  The Vancouver Island Golf Trail offers 12 very different courses stretching from Victoria 3 hours north to Campbell River (one of the best known salmon fishing spots in the world)  Kamloops, about 3 hours east of Vancouver is one of Canada’s hottest golf destinations with two new courses, including Tobiano - the Best New Course in Canada from Golf Digest as well as Talking Rock, one of the top 3 best new courses.  The Kelowna region, about 3 ½ hours from Vancouver, combines the best of golf with courses clustered like grapes, and with over 100 wineries each waiting for your visit.
